Texan mk4 with auto primer system

My out of state buddy is willing to part with one of his 4 presses. What do you guys think it’s worth (I know, there’s a lot of variables in regards to function & cond)?  I have used one previously at his house but have not used or seen the one he’s willing to sell. The one I did use was seemingly an excellent machine. I’m sure it will be fully functioning & dialed in. Thanks

For used anything, even in good condition, I start at 50% of current price/original cost.

If its worn or abused, I go lower. If well cared for and maintained, I go higher.

For something that has a finite lifetime (e.g. before worn and no longer useable), I also factor that into the price. Something like a reloading press I believe will remain functional indefinitely, so price goes up.

Given its a friend you're buying from, I'd just tell them you want it, and will pay their asking price.

The company is no longer in business. So parts will be far and few between. That said, if it in good shape, a friend is selling, I would pay as Mac said.
