Question about ammo trading

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Good afternoon all,

I'm pretty sure I have the answer but I wanted to check here and make sure you all understand the laws as I do.  I am a resident of TN and there is a guy I've been back and forth about doing some trading.  He is a resident of MO, and has some fishing stuff that I am going to trade some factory 5.56 ammo and some cash for.  I will be meeting him in MO to make the trade.  Do you all foresee any issues with me not being a resident of MO?  18 USC 922D is what I found federally, and MO state laws and published ordinances section 571.060 and section 571.063.  I just want to be sure I'm not setting myself up for any possible trouble .

Thanks-

.do it before  fishing rods are a controlled item

No kidding, sir are those treble hooks on that fishing lure? Put the rod down and put your hands behind your back, we are arresting you on the grounds you may hurt a sweet little fish that is swimming in his own backyard minding his own business. Judge says 25 to life!! But Hillary still walks free as a bird!!
