unless the sign was specific with the proper posting per TN law, just carry on and keep it to yourself. i have never seen that BS sign at any Bi-Lo. remember, the sign has got to be what the law says. just a no weapon or a gun with the slash through it does not mean anything. it does not mean they might not say anything if your discovered to be carrying. all they can do is ask you to leave and at that point, your ass better be out the door yesterday.

I know that NOW, but then I was under the impression that all that it had to say was No weapons. I am still taking my business to Food Lion... I just don't like BiLo's "Policy"

If you're walking around with a small dog in your arms like Paris Hilton, chances are you aren't walking around with a gun on your hip.

hmmm, maybe I should get one, then they'd never expect a thing! Yeah, walk around with a small dog and they will never notice the bulge in the side of my shirt! Good Idea!

I was wondering about the post office. I went the other day to the East Ridge PO, I have gone in there a few times and it is clearly marked "It is illegal to carry weapons..." I went by the other day and the sign is gone! I don't know if I just missed it (but I was looking for it), or if they had taken it down, or if they decided to let us carry there... but I don't expect the last one is correct.

It's a "federal building" I guess, regardless of signage.

But I know of no Post Offices that have xray machines, metal detectors, or patdowns.
