Looking for an opinion and any feedback form purchasers on this product. I keep seeing them advertised and the thought of a backup power supply is interesting.

What do you guys know or think of this.

I’ve got one but have only used it a handful of times for charging my phone while hunting all day sits when needed. Don’t think I have enough time with it to offer much of a review for you, but so far I’m happy with it.

Thanks. That's one comment I'd trust. Very skeptical of all the glowing comments on the ad site.

I assume this is for a rechargeable battery source to charge cellphones, tablets and whatnot?

If So buy several. I've used them for years with great success.

Are they the Patriot Power Cell? That's what I was specifically interested in.

How long do they hold a charge?

They are not. I have several that are different brands. They seem to last 4 to 5 years. I've got a couple I bought off of Woot at least 5 years ago. As to to to the charge it's not like you can charge them and come back in 10 years and they work. They're just rechargeable batteries.

Spoke to a "solar geek" friend of mine and about the Patriot Power Generator 1800 he said, "Ridiculously overpriced and misleadingly represented."

This might be worth watching:

Honestly no. They all work. I've got 3 I got from woot at least 5 years ago, maybe longer. One of them is just now starting to act up and I've used them more often than The wall chargers I have.

Im a fan...
