I have a buddy that got in a pallet of 5.56 in on Monday. He sold out in less than a week. Average price was $1300 pr 1000. He's about to drop some 9mm. I have no doubt it'll get bid up to $100 a box of 50. Crazy times.

A friend of mine sold 15K Primers to a gun shop for $125 per K. The shop set up at a gun show & & sold all of them in 2 hours @ $200 per K.

The shop set the $125 buy price.

I hope we won't look back & say $200 for 1K primers or $1300 for 1K .223 was cheap...

People are absolutely losing their ever loving minds. $2/rd for 9mm is just plain desperation. .50 BMG is only a little more than that. Of course demand for .50 isn't exactly high, but OMGWTFBBQ!

Right about now everyone with a stash of 9mm is holding it close in a dark room whispering "my precioussssss!"

On a side note, there's quite a bit of stuff on back shelves now. They are waiting for the gun control debate to start before they put it up for sale. The other problem is people that work a distributors and retailers taking the ammo before it gets out. Those guy are using secondary sellers and giving a cut to keep their name out of it.

After so many lean years, I can understand making hay while the sun shines even if it sits a bit uncomfortable. I think this behavior is really where a lot of the volume goes though the media and manufactures likes to point at "new gun owners". Its the same thing we saw happen post Sandyhook when season buyers bought up everything to resell. We will see the same as soon as B-dog drops the ban word.

The mag run should be impressive to watch.

That last part about intermediaries....that is some good forward thinking. Knowing some have a long memory for when the lean time hit and not alienate those that would hold the max profit stuff against them.

Thanks for sharing!

Palmetto had Pmags for $13 and change. Saw on GB .38 special lead round nose 100 rds for $155.00 plus shipping not an auction a set price. Yea don't spend all your money on ammo, save it for the $7 a gallon gas we will be buying shortly.
