I was considering taking a course through Tactical Response a while back and a prerequisite of taking the course was to read this book. I ordered it a few months ago and finally got around to reading it last night.

It's a really short book - I was able to get through it in less than an hour.

Despite the fact that it's short - the book is a must read for any serious CCW Holder. It's kind of like the Art Of War for gun owners.

The author Jeff Cooper is something near legend in the gun defense world. His simple theories explain what it really takes to win a gun fight by using tactics such as speed, agility, surprise and a few others. The book does just what is says and talks about simple "PRINCIPLES" that are easy to remember and hopefully execute.

I would highly recommend it.

I bought that book last year. At first I was a little disappointed because it was so short (and a little pricey for the number of pages), but I will say that it is a good read. Lots of good info that is just basic common sense, but sometimes you just don't think about.

I should get it back out and re-read it.

It's funny I had the exact same response and actually put it to the side for 2 months. When I finally read it I enjoyed it. Thing is it's a good book you can sit down and get through in an hour.

If Jeff Cooper said it, it is Gospel.

Is that Yeager's company, or is he just an instructor for them?

It's his.
