Memphis/Jackson gun shops?

Taking a road trip through Jackson and possibly into Memphis this weekend. What places are the "must stop at" gun shops? I know none will have ammo, that is a given. Mostly interested in old wood and cosmoline especially leaning towards old Soviet type firearms and accessories. Large reloading supply shops would be cool as well especially if they have used equipment.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I gave up on finding a decent gun shop in memphis years ago. I rarely bother going to any of them any more. Guns & Ammo on Summer Ave is probably the biggest. They also have the biggest prices, biggest crowds and very rarely have any used guns at all. Classic Arms on Germantown PKWY generally has a fair selection of used guns, but they know what they're worth too. I haven't seen any kind of Mil-Surps in a Memphis gun shop in years.

If there actually is a good gun shop in memphis, I'd sure like to hear about it.

Top Gun recently opened also-which was Range USA-it is owned by the same people that own and run Classic Arms.

They had several firearms in stock last time I was in there-but now it's a crap shoot.

There is a RK gun show at the Jackson Fair grounds Saturday and Sunday. Usually pretty decent.  I normally always go to this one. But due to Covid, I'm gonna pass this time.

If anybody goes, please give us a report.

The Jackson show is typically a decent gun show, as small venues go.  However, like most of West Tennessee, shows and shops alike, milsurps are few and far between.  I've had much better luck finding milsurps in Middle Tennessee than I ever have around this part of the state ...

As far as reloading supplies in the Memphis area Avery's would be your best location.  They do have a little bit of powder, bullets, and reloading accessories.  As far as primers the only place getting them in is Sportsman's Warehouse in Southhaven, MS.  They got a small load in yesterday and I was able to pick up 2000 small rifle primers.  They only sell 1000 per customer so I purchased one and my wife purchased the other.  As far as firearms Guns & Ammo would be your best place.  They have a lot of revolvers left.   They have some hi end firearms like Wilson Combat and Dan Wesson available.  They only had four Glocks the other day and I remember they have a Glock 34 Gen 5 and a Glock 40 Gen4.  They have a pretty good supply of CZ's and M&P available.  They do have ammo available, but is depends what you are looking for.  Got information from one of our Nephew's who is a Mississippi Highway patrolman in the Batesville, MS area that Hunter's Hollow 658 HWY 6 West Oxford, MS has plenty ammo (9mm & 5.56) available as of yesterday.
