I鈥檓 a cheapskate. I admit it. Now that we have that out of the way, I am devastated to learn that Tractor Supply has discontinued my beloved C.E. Schmidt jeans. I also have a pair of Cabela鈥檚 jeans that are passable. Sonce Bass Pro bought them out, they aren鈥檛 available anymore either.

Levi鈥檚, Wrangler聽and Carhart just don鈥檛 fit right.

I don鈥檛 want a $100 pair of jeans.

What do you guys suggest?

But seriously its weird how you find one Jean that's just right. Levis 505's are my current favorite.

Spandex jeans?馃構

There鈥檚 a thought.

I may just go get some overalls. I鈥檇 like them better if聽they didn鈥檛 chafe my nipples.

I almost hate to admit this being a lifelong Levi鈥檚 man (after the tragic Sears Toughskins upbringing聽that I had no control over), but I鈥檝e been wearing nothing but Academy鈥檚 Magellan聽house brand jeans for years now. 聽They fit and wear great, especially in the part that really matters. I鈥檝e never seen them priced聽over $17.99, lol.

Lucky Brand Jeans. They look good and feel almost like pajamas. Should run about $50. I always get them from Steinmart but I鈥檓 sure places like Kohl鈥檚 or TJ Max and the like may聽have them too.聽

Right now its Key overalls or Duluths Denim. They aren't cheap but if youre rough on clothes like I am well worth it. Fit good too.

Wore Levis and nothing else until they went overseas with production. Switched to Wrangler because they were made in U.S.A.

Now just something cheap I can fit my fat a$$ into. I no longer do labor, had to take a desk due to my back so I can't speak to sturdiness.

Overalls are comfortable, have to agree. good ones are hard to find now since wally world ran good retailers out of business.

GREG, is macon dept store still in business?

Check eBay for the Cabelas and CE Schmidt ones you like I鈥檝e done good on there with clothing especially if you can get actual measurements.聽

Wrangler seems good and their聽Riggs line is tough. I have good luck with the Carhartt and Dickies Carpenter jeans they are cut more generous. Duluth makes good stuff I don鈥檛 have any of their jeans yet.

聽聽聽 Rural King sells a $10 version of jeans.聽 I purchased a pair out of curiosity, and they've held up well for the past year.聽 I prefer LL Bean jeans, as they have some styles that I've found to be very comfortable, but the Rural king jeans are fine for chore days.

I wear pretty much whatever my wife brings home in my size. She is cheap, so I'm sure none聽cost more than $20. Some of the best ones were from second hand stores and GoodWIll. She is also really good at patching my old ones.

I got a couple of pair of Wranglers that I bought at Hammer鈥檚 and I love them. But right now, my absolute favorite thing to wear is a pair of Key Bibs, also bought at Hammer鈥檚! I love them so much, I鈥檓 going to buy another pair!!!聽

There like Onesies for Real聽Men! 馃槅

Not familiar with them, but I rarely go to Academy. I will check them out.

Get online and find a couple of pairs and then don鈥檛 gain any weight. Lol.聽

Have you really looked at the average TGO member? I mean really, that's cruel.

My second hand source here in Nashville are the Southern Thrift stores. It's always a hit or miss thing. some days you find something good in your size. Others not. I've gotten 2 pair of Faded Glory jeans recently there.聽 These were in very good condition. Good fit and very comfy. Plus they are long enough. A 32 length for a 42/44 waist is hard to find. Got them on a half price day...9 bucks for both.

Long time Wrangler man myself. Usually pick em up at Wal-Mart or Target. They come in a wide range of waists and lengths along with several different style cuts to fit pretty near anybody. Good, long lasting jeans at reasonable prices.聽馃憤

Uh, aren't you Levis guys聽aware that not only is that company rabidly anti-gun, but they are also huge聽financial聽supporters of just about every major left wing cause there is?聽聽I mean this has only been common knowledge for the last 30 years or so.聽馃檮

There is one in Clarksville but that might be the only one. Not sure.聽

Duluth's ballroom relaxed fit jeans are quite simply the best I've ever owned.聽 They retail for about $60, and the gosseted crotch is worth it.聽 They can fit everything from casual to a good pair of jeans to wear with a button down shirt and a blazer for a decent look.

If you've for the time to visit, the store in Franklin often has sales going on.
