Who said you can't get primers?

I wonder how much it would cost to open a primer manufacturing facility. Wowzer! $400 a case for primers. Who'd a thunk it?

Good for them.聽 If someone is dumb enough to pay that, so be it.聽 There is such thing as a stupid tax and we are seeing it at work every day.聽 That guy may take those 40 cent primers (*although it isn't over yet)聽and load some rounds and sell them for $2 a round.聽 People are doing and buying all kinds of crazy things right now.聽聽

I don't have an issue if people are setting their own price as a buyer on sites like GB.

I don't know if it's desperation or ignorance. I do know it's a sad state of affairs.

I'm all for people setting their own prices. I have no issues with that.

I just wonder what the "New Norm" in pricing will be?聽 I guess we'll eventually see.

I'm glad I got stocked up on LG Pistol Primers for my .45, but I need some Small Pistol Primers to reload 9mm, oh well. If they are getting that price I have a gold mine of LG Pistol Primers.

In a few years or less people may be bragging about paying 40 cent for primers and 25 cents for 22 shells.

That's a sad thought. Mainly because it may be true.

We need to remember this when things get back to normal, and stock up accordingly.

There probably should be a sticky about being prepared in the ammo section.

Some folks ain't right in the head, both sellers and buyers!

Without the buyers, the sellers wouldn't exist, and you could walk into your local store and buy what you want.

Anybody who has been around this game any length of time has already heard this advice repeatedly.聽 If they didn't heed it before, they're not going to now.聽 People have short memories ...

I looked at that gunbroker ad last night and it is a newcomer with no rating. I would have to be destitute to take advantage of my reloading community. I actually gave a friend 300 small rifle primers. However if anyone wants to pay me $0.25 per .22 round I have a few we can discuss. LOL I actually gave a guy 2 bricks of .22 for his kids. Be like state farm, like a good neighbor!!

You're a good man/friend Dirtshooter. Wish more people were like that. I was raised in the country on a farm, and we were taught the culture of helping and sharing with each other. When we killed a beef or some hogs. all of our neighbors got some free fresh meat.
