Check your local police supply stores. I found a LEO trade in 870 Police tactical. They are better quality than a normal 870 and not shot that often. Mine just had "trunk wear" from riding in a police cruiser for years.  I've heard current production Remington products are not well made.

Have you checked armslist? Look at dealers willing to ship. You can find good deals from pawn shops that will ship. Being willing to do some driving helps but thats up to you how far you're willing to go.

Who new back years ago when I had the chance to buy a couple of 870s for next to nothing...it would become such a very stupid mistake. lol

2 rough looking came to me in a possible trade. I passed.
