Has anyone been here?

I’ve been wanting to find a place to have some shotgun fun. Skeet particularly, but it’s become hard to find a place. This place looks nice and reasonable prices for occasional outings. It’s about an hour from my home. Has anyone been there that might could give a simple review?

Thanks.....Randall

ORSA has a skeet and trap leagues, not sure if it's members only or open to the public, but it's a growing sport there.

google Oak Ridge Sportsmen Assn in OR TN.

Randall (OP), I don’t know where you’re located in E. Tn. but it’s hard to beat ORSA for value and amenities.

Do you live in Spencer? The Fairfield Glade Sportsman's Club is about an hour north of you. I pay $100 a year for full access to a 500 yard rifle range, trap and skeet range, and two pistol ranges (one undergoing improvement right now.) I don't use the trap and skeet range, but it seems popular and well-maintained. I joined for the rifle range, and it's well worth it to me.

No. I live in Chattanooga. That sounds like a nice club you have, but I’m generally looking for a skeet range. thanks for the suggestion though. I’m probably going to go check out the one I posted about when I can get around good enough. It’s about 45 minutes north on hwy 111.

Have you looked at Cleveland hunting, rifle and pistol club? (www.chrpc.com)

They have skeet, a100 &200 yd.range and 6 pistol ranges (~25 yds.)

Membership limited to 900. Currently closed but take new members in April or May.

Dead Zero is a fabulous place.  They are just getting their skeet fields up to speed, but they have two Sporting Clays courses fully active.

I go mainly for rifle, pistol, and 3-gun.  Great folks!
