rifle mounts

i have been trying to think of a good way to transport my hunting rifles when i go hunting, something other than a soft case...has anyone come up with a neat idea for a mount overhead or some soft of stand to go between the seats. something other than the cheap back window mounts. if you have come up with a neat way, do you have any pictures?

I use a hard case sometimes and just put it in the truck bed. A good hard will protect it from the weather plus it gives you more room in the cab.
