That sucker was still moving, at least a few hundred fps... I hate to think what would have happened if the ricocheted round made solid contact with dude's face. Most .50 projectiles weigh double that of a 12ga slug.

That kind of thing that fills church pews and underpants...

After watching that scary-assed video the third time I realized that it was not just a simple ricochet but a double ricochet. The first ricochet impacted the ground about 7 meters down range of and to the port side of the shooter's table. Anyone on that field could have ended up with the same ultimate Oscar Sierra look on his face as is seen on the face of this insurgent that tried to take on an Air Force security unit equiped with a Barrett Model 82A1/M107 series rifle:

Obviously, if these guys were shooting at a concaved target, they have no idea how a parabolic dish works. Lucky for them they lived to learn.

I wonder where that round finally ended up.
