New Revolver Technology

Looks like there is some new technology in revolvers. 6+1

I've never heard of +1 capacity in a revolver, but if anyone could figure it out, it would be German engineers.  Methinks EAA has a typo on their Windicator page.

There's some 7 shot revolvers on the market. S&W has the 686, and maybe more. Taurus has some too.

Yes there are! (I'll play captain obvious here.) But they are 7 shots... NOT 6 + 1 !!! (that's an auto loaders way of saying 6 in the mag and one in the chamber. Can you see how that's a problem with a wheel gun?)

This info. was meant for new gun owners. so they could talk to other guys on the gun sites and sound cool saying 6 Plus one.

I have a S&W Model 19 that is a 3+3.

I have a Taurus Mdl 617 which is a 357/38  7 shot with a 2" brl. Matter of fact, I have 3. Been carrying one for 9 years now. One is ultra lite in 38 Spl only. Have had good luck with the 3 I have. Two are  a little heavier and bigger than a S W Snubbie, but has 7 on board instead of 5. I carry mine in my front pocket in a modified Desantsis Nemesis pocket holster. I like them and nothing at all wrong with having 2 extra on board, IMO.

Ok guys, after noodling on this, I thought maybe a scotch would help lubricate the brain. Then it hit me.

All revolvers are X + 1 !!   We have to remember our good old fashioned American know how and ingenuity.
