Savage 110 help

Recommended Posts

My Savage 110 extracts the case but, it drops loose from bolt and won't eject. Is the extractor broke? I've done a fair amount of gun tinkering over the years, and saved myself a lot of money but, have never done any work on a 110. Thanks

Sounds like you have a ejector problem-extractor does just that by pulling the empty from the chamber-then the ejector does it's job by just that ejecting.

I think in the bolt face it should have a ejector mounted on a spring that forcibly pushes the brass out from the facing.

There are a few different makers of kits that are upgrades from factory parts.

What cartridge are you shooting? Load a pic of the bolt face. 110 long or short. They recently changed them all to the 110 designation. I probably have an extra enhanced ejector for a Savage.
