By the way… I’ll pass this on. A couple of days ago I was looking for some cleaning supplies and went to Hoppes site to make a list of what I needed. They have started a Veterans VIP Program for anyone that served. I signed up, but figured their veteran prices on their website would just be what they sell for on Amazon, I was wrong. You have to upload proof of service and it takes a day or two for approval.

I put some stuff in my cart and went back in there today, after approval. I don’t know if it because its Veterans day, but their prices were excellent deals.

I’m vacationing in the Gatlinburg area this week.  They are very veteran friendly here.  Several restaurants are giving half off any meal for vets, all month.

I can tell you the whole state of TN is very veteran friendly (tho I LOVE!!!! seeing those Purple Heart parking spaces at SMKW).

Its one of 2 things that happened/I noticed shortly after we moved down here, that confirmed I'd made the right decision:

1 - my kid sang CHRISTMAS songs about BABY JESUS at his public school annual CHRISTMAS concert program held in the cafeteria beneath a Cross above the stage.

2 - High School's Spring band performance, they asked all the graduating seniors to stand when their names and future plans were announced, and those enlisting received a much louder and longer applause than the kids going to college out of State.

 

Y'all got your heads on straight down here. Don't ever forget it.
