Go to the MSN and click the link entitled "Polls show most support plan", and you will read a phrase that states a recent survey "found 68 percent of Americans approve of Obama's job performance."

HOWEVER . . . If you visit pollingreport.com, you find out that according to Gallop Polling, on the question "Do you approve or disapprove of the way Barack Obama is handling his job as president" our current president is down 9 points since coming into office. During the same period of time in 2001 (Bush's first term in office), the same question netted a 5 point increase. IMHO, this equates to a distortion of the truth because i believe the media has an agenda, and they are always willing to share only those truths that apply to their personal agenda. This runs contrary to what the media SHOULD be doing and that is reporting on the facts without an agenda.

Draw a correlation to the extremely visible anti-gun propaganda, and it's easy to see why we need organizations like the NRA and even our own voice through sites, letters and emails. I firmly believe that a lot of people are lazy and are not going to go and research what is really true. The ONLY way that truth will be known about responsible gun ownership, the 2nd amendment and personal defense is if we work as hard or harder than the liberal media to share the truth.

In politics, in gun ownership, in ALL things; I encourage every member of this site to be educated - not just about which gun sets best at a 15% cant (btw, it is DEFINATELY a Glock - HA) but about the world around us.

Educate Yourself and then Educate Others

I know that. It's not a slam against MSN or even Obama. It's about getting people to work to make a difference. They will slide this over us fast if we aren't vigilant.
