Turkey Shoot in Lebanon Nov. 14, 15 & Dec. 5

Our annual Gen. Robert H. Hatton, Sons of Confederate Veterans Turkey Shoots are planned and everyone is invited to attend for some fun and good eatin' prizes. We'll be at the usual place-- Wilson County Fairgrounds. Use the Peyton Rd. entrance, you cant' miss us.

This is a great event with lots of families showing up along with young shooters. One of my fondest memories of childhood is attending turkey shoots with my dad. Come out and make some memories with your son or daughter or grand kids.

We'll have turkeys, country hams, and packs of thick sliced bacon as prizes. $5 per shot, ammo provided. All proceeds go toward upkeep of monuments and memorials.

We begin around 8am on Saturdays and run until we're out of shooters, probably around noon. On Sunday we'll start at 1pm and go until about 3:30.

Any ga. shotgun is allowed. 36" max barrel.

Dates: Nov. 14 & 15, Dec. 5

Have stopped at a few over the years and watched for a few minutes, never shot in one. What is needed to win so many holes in bulleseye? win at the time or wait for daily total? what are the basics?

We'll run a 12 shooter round. You can shoot in one slot, or you can buy multiple tickets and shoot multiple slots in each round. Winner is determined by who gets a pellet closest to the center. If there is a tie there is a shootoff between them. Each round is judged individually so you can come and shoot in one round or multiple rounds as prizes are awarded per round.

Makes it easy. You can come and shoot all day. We have some shooters that do that, then we'll have others that come and only shoot one or two rounds.
