Gotta have a new wal-mart plan!

Wal-mart in Smyrna DOES NOT have nachos anymore. Lady in the deli said they have not had them in a couple months. So I got some chicken strips instead. Apparently this is becoming a problem across the state. Somebody needs to come up with a new plan of action. Looks like chicken is the only choice unless somebody wants to bust open a box of doughnuts in bakery.........

You should go to the Hilton across from the Sommet Center. I hear *cough* they have amazing nachos. Not cheap, but worth every penny.

I still remember growing up in Murfreesboro and going into Wal-Mart for chicken as a tornado went through the parking lot. I think that was back in Jan. 1997.

My sister refuses to eat the W-M chicken now because of that incident... :drunk:

Couple of months ago I went to wallyworld to grab something or another at lunch, don't recall what. Realized I would be short on time and wouldn't be able to stop at one of the usual drive through restaurants, so headed to the deli and got a plate of their chicken tenders w/some spuds and headed to work. Shared them with a co-worker once I was back in the office. Noticed they weren't the tastiest going down. Couple of hours later, they started tasting even worse. Not a case of upchucking, but the taste seemed to linger, and linger, and linger. Not pleasant at all.

The spuds were like cardboard also.

Go for the potato wedges!!!

Hey, you get your empty carbs and triglycerides all in one package; insulin ampules and triple bypasses are good for the economy.

With all those pluses, ya want taste, too?

Especially since Comrade Obama can now control the healthcare we receive...

I wonder when I will be deployed to Eastasia. :)

"Wal-Mart sucks!" -Tom Cruise, Rain Man.

wait....or was it "K-Mart sucks!"?.... oh well, they both suck. :)

I go for ammo. I don't eat their food made there, just the usual grocery odds and ends.

Well don't expect to get any ammo either. I talked to the guy in sporting goods and he told me he is selling ammo as soon as he gets it. .380 being the hardest for him to get. He said he sold 90 boxes of 9mm in one day, where normally it would have took weeks to sell. So somebody is going to have come with a new wal-mart inaugural walk. I think the ammo situation will correct itself, but the nacho crisis is here to stay. People are now going to have to do the chicken walk from now on. Just be careful of who sees you.....

The chicken strips used to be good at walmart, now as was said earlier, they kind of linger....Go for the Wing Dings, those aren't half bad.

Since ammo there is really hard to find, and they dont have nachos at most places, I think walmart wants us now to go to the Crackbucks in the store and get a latte while wearing our fanny pack to conceal our gun.

My vote is for the chicken. That stuff is GOOOOD!

On a side note, I remember my grand dad tell me that when he sold light bulbs, he called on Sam Walton once but couldn't sell him any because he didn't have enough stores. Funny how life goes.

Their chicken would be a lot tastier if they would give you a couple tubs of dipping sauce instead of having to buy it separate. What good is saving 50 cents on a lb of strips if you have to spend a buck to get some sauce. I can deal with the puke-burps as long as I pop a couple prilosec.

The Wally i go to around here has had ammo both times I have gone the last couple weeks, trick is I go on Monday or Tuesday. At least that has been my observation. I bought 10 boxes of Blazer 9mm a couple weeks ago on a Monday. I asked the lady when they got it in, she said they got it in last night (Sunday). So, perhaps ask when the truck runs at your local wally world and then just swing by there. The hardest to get is the 550 bulk federal .22lr. I recall them having a couple boxes of .380 perhaps, but I wasn't looking specifically for it. Might have been .38 spl...

One could always hide out in the Sporting Goods section and munch on a tube of stink bait while propped against the ammo counter waiting for the next shipment of ammo to hit the shelf.
