Reloading costs calculator

My .40 S&W or .38 specials are $49.85 per 1K using my $30.00 fed primers. If I use the $18.60 win primers it drops to  $38.45, but I don't have but about 600 of those left. Actually the win primers were marked $1.86 per 100 so could have been cheaper by the 1K. Oh when looking back on all the cheap components. I ran across a ticket for 8 lb jug of Bullseye was $110.29 in 2013 I think.

And I was doing it the long way for so long, thanks.

Hey Red you weren't using a wooden pencil to calculate it were you? LOL Yea I had seen one a few years back, but I like this one. Easy to change your component costs.

$112/1000 of .40 cal 180 coated using range pickup brass and components purchased in the last three months.  $100/1000 for 9mm 147 coated and  $135/1000 for 9mm 147 jacketed.

I've had an android app for awhile, Reloading Cost Calculator from Midnight Tinkering (my preference) and Reloading Calculator by ReloadersHub.  They both work decently and give you a cost per 1-1k.

There are quite a few reloading, and shooting apps available, like ballistic, and shot timers for both android and iphone, many for free.

I use Reloaders Workshop. The creator has sadly passed on but his relatives made the source code publicly available. It's great software with tons of features, including a shot calculator which figures out group size etc from a scanned target. It can also be used for inventory management and cost analysis.
