I seen a springfield xd 45 4in service model today for $475 out the door.It is used but comes with 2 mags and the case it came up when new and the other stuff that was in the case when bought new(holsters and paper work),didn't look to be shot much.IS this a decent deal or should I keep looking?

Private sale was right.I instead went to the local gun shop this morning and they had a very nice Walther P99 and was just screaming "take me home".So what did I do,I couldn't just walk away from it,with it screaming to me like that,So I got her.LOL...

I didn't like the way the XD felt in my hand,Kinda like a glock,I hate the looks and feel of a glock.Nothing perssonal though.

Yeah, I like the feel of the Walther P99, too. They have a great grip and I like the looks of them. But I just couldn't part with the extra dollars relative to the SA XD or SW M&P lines. I have 9mm and .45 XDs as well as a M&P 9c. Oh, I do have a Walther P22 and it's a great pistol.

$475 sounds like it was a pretty good deal but the Walther P99 does have a strong allure.

I'm biased torwards XD's but those Walthers do look and feel good. I've never shot one but held one before and liked the feel. Enjoy!

i'm an XD guy also. although i own a P99 and they are good pistols too. i think the only thing the P99 has over the XD is the 3 interchangable grips. but again not taking anything from the P99. congratz and enjoy.
