Upcoming Personal Safety and Firearms Safety Courses

While many of us here are trained to use a handgun and/or own firearms, many of us do not, or have friends and family who do not. Here are a couple of upcoming NRA-Endorsed courses that might be valuable to people who do not carry and/or live in a home with firearms, but are not trained in their use.

Both courses run only $30.00 each and are taught at Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin (Sumner County). Check them out. PM or email me for the details.

NRA Refuse to be a Victim -personal safety strategies for in home, at work, indoors and out. Teaches you how to avoid a situation where the use of deadly force might be required. Reviews strategies and equipment to increase your personal safety. Saturday, March 28, 9am-2pm. $30.00 includes all materials.

NRA Home Firearms Safety - Basic knowledge and skills necessary to safely handle, load, unload, make safe, and store firearms in the home. Saturday, April 18, 9am-2pm. $30.00 includes all materials.
