HBO has a new movie out called 'Taking Chance'. It is a true story of a Marine LTC taking the body of a young PFC home to be buried.

I HIGHLY recommend it to everyone. If it doesn't choke you up I do not know what will.

It was a great movie. I teared up a couple times myself.

Its a far cry from the dispicible way our Vietnam War vets were treated. Its great to travel around and see how well our heroes are treated at airports and on airplanes.

Fantastic movie. If you can watch it and nit tear up, you need to see a doctor.

As for viet Nam vet's. When I was being released from the naval hospital. Navy captain suggested that it would be far better to travel in civilian clothes. WTF I was proud of my Marine greens and still am today. OH the doctor 's reasoning was it may upset some people. Well yeah who would want to sit next to a baby killer on a flight.

Very well done.

For the general public who doesn't understand or even know of the military custom of an escort for a fallen warrior...., this movie does an outstanding job of showing how this honored duty is performed.
