Learned yesterday that the Jackson Indoor Shooting Range (jacksonisr.com) is soon starting a 7-week shooting league. It's evidently open to all shooter, regardless of experience, and will be comprised of 50 shots, 10 per at 5 different distances, once per week.

Anyone from the Jackson-Madison County area interested in doing it? I'm strongly considering it. It's $35 for the 7 weeks, total, so it's a cheap way to get some range time in. Thoughts?

I have shot in the fall league and I probably will shoot in the spring league you are talking about. The price is cheap for range time if you are not a member. It's usually the 50 rounds (75 rounds last fall) of ammo per week that ups' the cost. It's a lot of fun. A friendly competition for bragging rights. You can also go in anytime during the week to shoot your league target, so it's easier to make it every week.
