On Saturday August 22nd we will be holding the last meeting of the summer for the TN/GA/AL training group in Rocky Face Ga !

Subject : The Long and the Short of It - Rifle and Pocket Pistol

Instructor: Tier 1 Suarez Int Staff Instructor Randy Harris

Location: Hiawassi Land Company Lake (off Mill Creek Rd) , Rocky Face GA 30740 (contact me for directions. It is about 25 minutes South of Chattanooga off of I-75)
Time: 9AM EASTERN time - 3PM EASTERN time

Price: $80 - pay at class cash or check.


This one will be a combo Pocket Pistol and Short Range Rifle day. We sometimes carry small pistols because they are convenient but lets see what we can actually DO with them. Snubby or Auto either one (or both?) and you will need at least 100 rds of ammo. So grab your Kahr or your Glock 26 or 43 or SW Shield or SW J frame for that matter and come on out. We will be doing a full spectrum test of our capabilities - everything from getting off the X close range reactive skills to mid range and even some long range work and of course we will finish up with a man on man shoot off . If you don't have a subcompact and need a loaner for class I can hook you up.


Also we will get some quick and dirty work in with our rifles (or Pistol Caliber Carbines or Rifle Caliber Pistols) . If you are going to keep it in your vehicle "just in case" then you need to practice with it !

What you need to bring: Subcompact Pistol with at least 2 pistol magazines and at least 100 rounds of ammo. Revolvers (with 2 speed loaders) are welcome if you want to party like it is 1899. A Belt Holster of some type for your pistol.

Also you will need a RIFLE (or "Rifle Caliber Pistol" or "Pistol Caliber Carbine") with at least 3 rifle magazines, a way to carry the 2 spare rifle mags on your person and bring at least 80 rounds of ammo for the rifle.
