Recommended iron sights... 300 blackout rifle.

Am waffling back n forth on red dot vs irons on a 300BO ... I tend to like the irons... 100% reliable, rugged, n my overall familiarity.   Any observations/ recommendations as to type n brands would be appreciated... These sights are for possible " real " use, much like the old time lever guns were with the man hunters.    Large two legged predator control.

Thanks in advance.

I had to decide this recently on the same caliber. I ended up with a dot with nice backup irons. A dot is so much faster (for me) than irons. A Sig Romeo5 is only $150 and easily solved the issue for me. I have magpul mbus pro irons. It’s a great setup.

Safe to assume front sight to be rail mounted? Or A2 front sight post?

Daniel Defense has a nice set of fixed iron sights. So does LMT.

Of note, all iron sights for ARs I am aware of, the elevation adjustment will be for 5.56

I would get a set of fixed Daniel Defense sights and call it a day.  I wouldn't be too concerned with folding since you aren't putting an optic on the rifle as well.

Just reread your question. If you are looking for just irons and are wanting fixed I tend to like the Troy fixed irons the best.

Took your advice Brother... I like em... Got the diamond arpeture rear and the HK post...  Cant wait ta get some ammo loaded n try em out...!

Thanks again ta " All Ya'll "...

Awesome! They have the dual benefit of a great sight picture along with just looking cool.

I also think Troy fixed irons would be the best sight for that.
