Hallmark Christmas in July

Has anyone else been watching the Hallmark channel's Christmas movies?

My wife and I have been enjoying them instead of watching the insanity every night.  It's been refreshing to actually hear people sing actual Christmas carols, refer to the 'reason for the season', and be generous and kind.

We know it's pure fantasy.  But where else can you see entertainment that isn't cruel, evil, or liberal crap?

Haha, my wife's favorite! If you see one, you have seen them all. 😄

It is neat to see how actors have aged. Hallmark appears to be where actors careers go when they're dead.

Sorry. I can’t stand the Hallmark channel. 200 movies, 12 actors, 1 plot.

You are right, my friend. lol!

I fought it for years. But since wife retired...it's been hopeless.

I now watch them with her.

Some are even fairly good. It's fun watching actors that I've seen in movies and series before show up on the show. Fer' instance...Lucas Bryant. The sheriff from Haven.

And others whose names I don't know but recognize the faces.

I wonder if the Canadian TV regs are like the music industry there was(is) in the past? A large percentage, I think it was 80% of broadcast music HAD to be Canadian musicians.

I haven’t had cable tv in well over a decade. No Hallmark Channel means no Hallmark Channel movies.
