I think there is a good chance these firearm reforms will become law. At minimum they will be brought to a full floor vote in the House and should receive bipartisan support. I am not fond of the 11PM curfew, but I can live with it for the time being. It is a lot better than what we have now and also having to worry about a food %. Many restaurants where I am from (Arkansas) stop serving food at 10PM and turn into bars and stay open until 2AM....It appears this is what the legislators are trying to avoid because TN does not differentiate between a bar and restaurant, which Arkansas ABC laws do. Clean up the park and wildlife management area firearms laws and allow bowhunters to carry sidearms (already legal back home in AR) and I can carry legally pretty much anywhere I go through my normal week and when in the outdoors.

The question is, since a ballpark, like Autozone Park in Memphis sells food and does have seating areas, will it now be legal to carry, if this bill becomes law? As of now I can't legally carry, because Autozone sells beer and liquor.

That would be nice to be able to legally carry to Autozone, even though they sell beer and liquor. I would hope the food sales helps that side qualify as anything other than a 'bar' and also it is not age restricted. It is bad that people now have to make the choice of either walking to the ballpark legal and unarmed or 'illegal' and armed in that part of town.
