I’ve got the Dewalt flexvolt blower and trimmer. They’ll last longer with a 9ah battery than you will.

I run a Ryobi 40v mower on my 3/4 acre lot.  The 5ah battery is typically *just* enough. I bought an extra 2ah battery for when I’m slow.

The Lithium ion batteries have a much better life cycle than the old NiCads.  They’re typically rated to have at least 80% capacity remaining after 40 charges.

Those were interesting results. Cutting shape aside - what I really want is the one I have to change the least often.

Not much difference, but a refill of .105 seems to last longer than a refill of .095, even though my trimmer holds less of it (assuming decent quality line, not dollar store stuff).  But I use a 2 cycle Red Max.  I wouldn’t try .095 or .105 on most of the electric trimmers I’ve seen.
