Air, water & email are free. Good luck in the taxpayer conference or courtroom with that email. Letter Rulings on taxpayer questions may be obtained for a fee of $200 and are limited in scope to the facts presented and to the taxpayer requesting the ruling. Were I an FFL dealer and did a significant transfer business, for certain I'd get something in writing. But I'm not. :koolaid:

Your statement directly contradicts information I received from TDR's Discover unit, though that was probably 3 years ago. And fortunately for both of us, that unit doesn't make policy. :koolaid:

You mean if you ask the same state agency the same question at two different times you might get two completely different and contradictory answers? Nahh, can't be.
