Prays of Support Please.

Posted (edited)

I really don't want to bring down the tone of this very important day. I'm a solitary and usually independent old cuss, but tonight I would ask for some prayers of support for my wife, Susan, and mother-in-law Bettie. And leave it to me to forget his love...Julie. I'm sorry.

We lost my brother-in-law Tad this afternoon and I had to tell my wife she'd lost her brother, and then go and tell Bettie that her son was gone.

I did it, and that's all I can say. If you can remember them in your prayers for the next few days; I would appreciate it.

Thank you.

I know it was a hard task to be the bearer of such grim news, hipower.  But at least they got it from someone in the family.

Condolences to the family on your loss.  May his memory be a blessing.

Thanks all for the prayers. I will pass those along this morning.

In my haste last night, I neglected to give his full name. It was Frank "Tad" Stratton. Always went by Tad.

Not sure he did much, but was an infrequent visitor under the handle of 50beowolf for a time.  I do know he had a lot of friends in the knife and military community several years ago, but again, not sure much was here. Mostly around Ft. Campbell and some of the "well know" custom knife makers.

Again , our thanks.

Thank you all for the prayers. I know Susan and I appreciate them all. I'll get Tad's mother and Julie, his girlfriend together and they can see these messages. I know they will appreciate them as well.

Frank E. "Tad" Stratton's earthly remains are now back home here in Nashville. As of now, no time set for a memorial service. I guess Covid 19 interrupts all things. We are waiting in line for a time at the cemetery for the service.

His mother wishes for a small private family gathering, though the outpouring of friends on FB might change that.

No matter what else can be said of Tad, he touched many, many lives while he was here.

Thank you all, my TGO Family. May God Bless you all for your concerns and prayer.
