My email is no good?

All of a sudden, I got a notice while on TGO that my email listed in my profile was no longer receiving emails from TGO, and must be changed.  So I was stuck, I normally only have one email and that's all I monitor. I dug up an old one, to use to get to this point, but I don't understand what happened. Could a mod PM me so I can give you my old and new emails and try and sort this out, I'd much prefer to have my normal email on file, as I know I would miss communications if sent to my other (unused .gmail address)

Okay, hold up, I just read farther down about another guy with the same problem, and since I already do have a gmail address, one, I'll just use it for this board.

It looks like your gmail address is the one on file.  Feel free to shoot me a note and I'll look into it.

Similar situation here. I ended up with Gmail for this forum only. Not a Google fan.

I use a Comcast email. I get emails from TGO daily, its never been an issue.

Well, folks, I once was able to say "I have verizon email. and haven't had any problems" . Until I did...

I've given up trying to make sure that TGO email can reach all others.  I've done everything I can to make sure that we have all of the right DNS records, that our server is secure, and that we are using a reputable mail-sending service (At a cost of nearly $100 per month I might add).  All it takes is a group of unhappy dickheads getting banned from TGO to suddenly start reporting the email they signed up for as "Spam" and we get blocked from Comcast, Verizon, etc. 

I've successfully had us whitelisted with all of these providers in the past, but it's a never-ending cycle.

Me too. Get all emails and notifications without any issues.

I had that problem with my Yahoo account, was fine for a while then kaboom. The admins tried what they could, but the interwebs won that round 😛

No probs after switching to my gmail

I switched to Gmail for this forum and now I'm getting this:

Update Your Email Address 

Emails that we send to you are being returned to us. If our emails continue to bounce, we will stop sending emails to you and require you to update your email address.

Also, as far as I can tell I am receiving most notifications...  :shrug:

I "updated" my email address  as instructed and the warning went away. Odd thing is I "changed" it to the same address.
