Glen Beck and the NRA representative discussed legislation introduced in Illinois today. They explained that this new legislation will require one million dollars worth of liability insurance for willful misconduct or negligence on the part of a firearm owner. They explained that no insurance company in this country would even sell a policy like that, but even if they did, it would eliminate firearm ownership for anyone but the super rich (due to the cost of such a policy). This legislation would make anyone a felon who owned a firearm without also having this impossible to obtain insurance.

The NRA rep and Glen also discussed the fact that this could very well be a back door plan for the Obama administration to remove firearms from the general public. Theoretically they would not be infringing upon our 2nd Amendment rights, because the guns, or gun ownership are not outlawed, but you could not own one if you did not have this unobtainable insurance policy.
