They're pretty gay, for sure. Maybe they could be called "crotch pockets." Oh wait...that's pretty gay too.

.....You can get yourself cleaned.

You can have a good meal

you can do whatever you feel

no man does it all by himself

I said, young man, put your pride on a shelf

and just go there to the YMCA

I'm sure they can help you today

I have a "fanny pack" and I don't care even the tiniest iota what anyone thinks about it or me. I will be using it during the warmer weather for my portable Sony cd player, which is too big to get in a pocket. I walk 45 minutes per day outdoors, and I'm listening to German language lessons. Besides, there's no room left in my pocket, as that's where my GLOCK 27 rides.

You could always go with the fanny pack and add one of those HCP badges pinned to the outside for the "total" look. :D:rolleyes::D

Right on Mousegunner. I am with you!!

I don't have one but I am gonna get one. I can clearly see now that while it may look gay, a man's man can wear one and not look any less manly.

And on top of that, I might look like Richard Simmons wearing one but I could care less what you bunch of homophobic Nancy's think. Wait until you get old, wrinkled and fat and see if you care then.

It looks entirely functional and it really could be fairly tacticool.

As an answer to the OP's question

Can a man wear a fanny pack without looking too gay

No a man can't. But the real question to ask is why do you care if you look gay. A man does what a man wants to do.

In all fairness if the thing is worn as intended - with the compartment over the butt-ocks and not over the package it is considerably more tolerable.

Hey Guys, if your "manhood" is so tied up in what you wear, as a licensed mental health therapist, I'll be happy to provide free therapy to increase your self esteem.

In warm weather, I carry a small bag that may look "gay" to you, but laugh at me out in public, and you can kiss the barrel of my S&W 686 . . .

It is not what we wear on the outside that matters . . . it IS what we know about ourselves on the inside.

Go ahead now and chew me up:drama:

I think your Freudian slip has answered you own question!:P
