Nashville area FFLs that accept incoming from private parties?

Not sure if this is the right forum...  Just looking for recommendations on any FFLs that accept incoming transfers from private parties (that include a DL copy).

The few that I’ve talked to say they only accept incoming from another FFL. Nashville area, but include Franklin, etc

I hate calling around and figured I’d try here first.

Check with your nearby Music City Pawn Shop.   I use Music City Pawn almost exclusively for FFL transfers and am 99% sure I have used them for a private-party transfer before.

Royal Range in west Nashville will accept transfers from private individuals

Oh wow, that’s my FFL.  And it even says it on their site now.  This is great.  Thanks!

FYI, Music City’s site says they do not allow private transfers:

Purchasing Company Name *

Please list the name of the company for which you are ordering the firearm. NOTE: Music City Pawn will only facilitate transfers of online purchases from an FFL dealer. We do not accept online sales transfers from individuals without an FFL.

I currently use Wilson Consulting LLC (John Wilson) in Franklin. Single gun transfers are $30 (which includes the $10 TICS charge). Transfers from individuals are permitted. John is great to deal with. He works out of his home so timing is flexible, but you need to coordinate in advance. More info available here:  https://www.wilsonconsultingllc.net/index.html

I used to use Capitol View Pawn on Charlotte before it closed. They accepted transfers from individuals, but claimed legally as a pawn shop FFL they had to hold transfers from individuals for 21 days. I never confirmed whether this holding period was required by law. Hope this helps.

Used Royal Range.  Their FFL is posted on the site.  You just provide them the guy’s name that’s selling it to you and he sends a DL copy.  Super easy.  Thanks for the help.

Benelli M1 Super 90 on the way.
