New Gun From Guns and Leather Today :)

Kevin sold me a Colt Commander this after noon 45 acp, up at Guns & Leather.,Im use to the tupperware guns with no safetys,now I have that lock and loaded,you 1911 guns are allways talking about.shes a sweetry,blue finish,carbon steel frame,and slide,4 1/4 inch barrel,7 3/4 over all length,Double Diamond Rosewood Grips,and Combat hammer,7+1 45, acp,Beavertail grip and safety,also thumb safety....Gosh fellows,I think im in Love,I have 3 ploymer guns and now a real steel one ,like the old revolvers I use to have as a young man22 cal.,32 caql. 38 cal. Thats 3 guns ive bought this year,I think im gonna have to check into rehab for Guns annoymas....

Hey congrats on the purchase they are really cool pistols.

Very nice, whats on the grip of the glock? A laser grip attach. if so, is it not awkward?

That's probably a Crimson Trace laser grip. I held a Glock 21 with one on there and it felt pretty comfortable. I would think most people would find it still provides a good grip.

I love my polymer guns but what I wouldn't do to get a good steel 1911, but as things go the nicest toys are always expense, and my account manager AKA the wife limits my purchasing so I have to play nice for the AR I want. Great purchase on the Colt hope you enjoy

Thanks,Im like you I love mmy Glock and M&P 40,but ive wanted that 1911 for a long time,I have the same amout of money invested in all of them. Glock 27 $529.00 plus a ton of tax,Sepro night sights,$100.00,Crimson Trace Laser Grips $279.00 before tax.The same exact prices on the M&P,all the little goodies you add to them add up.The colt is stock,for now so I have less money in it,ill proabbly get the same stuff,put on it too,but ill never get rid of any of these 3 guns,thats why,I didnt mind spending the money on them.....hang in there,and youll get yours sometime,maybe sooner than you think,Im single so I can do it,but maybe thats why ive been married 3 times and divorced...lol

Well I don't plan on divorcing this one she actually likes guns, its just the economics of having 5 kids, but a few of them are getting ready to get booted to college. So more money for guns for me.....lol

Well thats good to hear,because a good woman is hard to find,and believe me I speak from experince,I had 3 different ones all very pretty,but none of them could keep there pants on if you knopw what I mean.Ill never go there again,but if I did,Id find the ugiliest woman I could find that was a good cook,liked Nascar,all sports,and fishing,camping,and GUNS and Shooting.I know there are woman out there like that I just never found one.The pretty ones are allways chased, by guys when your back is turned,thats why Id get one, that no one else would wont.....but me
