They are the best in this state period, its like Gunsite in Tennessee... go where all the other trainers train.

PRI!!!

Since I have not attended PRI (or several others in TN for that matter), I cannot intelligently make a statement like this.

I have met, and have respect for, Ron and John (from my Metro Nashville PD days) and I'm sure that they run a good program.

GLOCKMEISTER, since you feel that you can intelligently make a statement like this, what other non-LEO/non-military Tennessee schools are you basing your opinion on?

All I have to say is that CIS classes are great. The instruction, the shooting, the safety aspects and the knowledge you gain will help you well into the future.

Likely won't make the April class but will be there for the August class. :shake:

Can't wait!!

Anyone ever seen Magpul's "Art of the Tactical Carbine" series?

Not to say a DVD is in any way shape or form a substitute for live fire training, but I've heard good things about it. It retails around $35-40 for the 3 DVD set, and from the preview on youtube, it looks like it actually has decent production value.

Yes.

I don't agree with everything they teach, but it's definately worth the money.
