Detachable Carry Handle

I've been shopping around for a detachable carry handle for my AR.

I've seen prices all over the place. UTG/Leapers and CAA both in the $30-$40 range, while I've seen DPMS and Stag's offerings more towards the $90-$110 range...

Does anyone with experience with these offerings know if the difference in price is noticeable in quality? Is there other brands I should be looking at?

It's my experience that you are paying for the name on the side of it.

I have a set of UTG buis on one of my carbines. They work. It's not a complex machine. Just a circle and a post.

I have just gotten my Leapers (Optics Planet), paid $39 for it. Quality seems fine, the site moves, the finish looks great, seems solid. It is in fact a paperweight at the moment and I can't compare to the name brand ones that are twice or more expensive.

I looked at it closer and it is not free from some blemishes in the finish. It is tight, doesn't rattle, not lose. There are a few scratches on some edges and scuff marks. For $40 I am satisfied.

Also through optics planet, they were on back order, took about 5 weeks for me to get them. They did not charge my credit card until it shipped. They sent a couple of emails when it back ordered, I asked a question, they answered quickly, then went it shipped, they told me that my card is being charged and it is being shipped.
