I was checking one out yesterday. It felt really good in my hand. Came up naturally with sights in alignment for my grip.

Would love to hear some other peoples experience as to reliability and function.

Thanks.

PS - I was looking at a 9mm. This will not be my primary carry gun. Mainly a range gun.

I had one for a while...it was a 9mm. A very reliable weapon...ergo's are good with the ability to change out the back straps. Mine had night sights...I ran about 500 flawless rounds through it and it was very accurate...mag capacity was up there as well w/ the dbl stack...I traded it in for a G27 to use as primary carry due to the fact that I had a 229 as well...all in all...very reliable and fun to shoot!

KahrMan I own a PX4 and love it and I've never had any trouble with it either. I don't think you will be disappointed if you decide to buy one. Good luck on your decision. How you doing Flyfishtn?

I had one and really liked it but ended up trading it ..... I put 200 rounds thru it and at that time the superlumanova sight inserts came out of the front sight, due to the recoil ...... I dont know if they have improved that now or not, but after it happened to me, I read on the Beretta forum that that was common.... I was dissapointed.....

I have had a .40 for a year or so now and my business partner has the 9mm. It is a fine pistol in both calibers. Mine is the rare SAO version without the safety/decocker and his is the F version (Standard) if I'm not mistaken. Shoots well also but the 9mm seems to run a little smoother, most likely due to the lower recoil. The sights are lacking as John noted above. I will probably replace mine at some point with real night sights.
