It started off as a gun show Wingmaster 870. Tube is a Choate with a Wilson Combat mag spring. Sidesaddle is a TacStar. Barrel was cut down to 19 inches with a hacksaw, file, emory paper, and Super Blue. It's off to the smith tomorrow to have a fiber front sight installed. I'm not sure what I want for a light and if I'm going to add a shellholder to the stock. Total cost to date- $220

I am looking for an older pump to do this exact thing to. I have almost bought a HD Mossberg on several occasions, but there is just something about a home made HD Shotty. Plus the wood helps with the "old school" look.

Very Nice

:koolaid:

I had a couple of other scatterguns thatI thought about giving the full defense treatment to and I just didn't have the heart to do it. There's something so utilitarian about the worn and dented wood that just begged to be taken out and gotten dirty during some real-life training.

Looks cool, truthsayer.

I can't help but notice the old school radiator in the background, is it functional? Where the heck do you live?

I live in the ghetto in Memphis. The heaters are, indeed, functional.

Haha, I did some traveling construction work for an outfit several years ago and myself and another guy I was working with had about 2 months of work to do in Boston. Naturally we got holed up in some rent by the month building in a gritty area in southie. The eyes on the stove didn't work so well, but I never had any issues cooking a grilled cheese on radiator.
