Dear MSM, please let us hear what your experts have to say

I mainly watch FOX NEWS. I know, no surprise there. But I would guess this happens will all the MSM journalists, and I use that term loosely. They love to hear themselves talk, they love to impress us with how they can take a very long time to ask a question and give us all the possible answers, so we know how smart they are. Then as the expert starts to talk, they either cut them off because they must impress us with their next question, or they run out of time.

So….FOX please let the experts you bring on give the answers to the questions we want to know. Ask them quickly and give them plenty of time to answer. And unless they are babbling, let them speak, don’t interrupt.

That is all. ;)

Dave,

You have hit the nail on the head with that observation. I find myself yelling at the talking heads on Fox, telling them to "shut the h*** up and let the guest talk!" No sooner does the question leave their mouth and the guest starts talking, when the host(s) start the prod or interruption to either get the answer in six seconds or just to interrupt for the reasons you stated. Why bring an expert on if you won't take advantage of their expertise? My dos centavos.

I watch Fox news as well, and have noticed for quite some time the hosts will cut the "experts" off about the time the expert is stating the answer I or everyone wants to hear.  They try and cover as much news or opinions as they can, and it can be frustrating for sure.

All the media types I have encountered in my previous life loved to hear themselves talk.  Few really listened to the answers to their questions, and virtually all of them mostly just wanted you to agree to whatever their interpretation was ...
