Here is the last one for the day and my view of my world, well some of it.

I would hate to have that rooster outside my bedroom window at sunrise.

Any bird lurking outside my window at sunrise will have a very short life expectancy ...

My wife found them for sale and picked up 4 big birds and 6 chicks. We have them spread out around the yard.

If roosters only crowed at sunrise, I'd be okay with that.聽

They start up about an hour earlier than sunrise聽out where I live.

Once, on a Saturday morning, I was awakened by the thunderous call of a wild turkey right outside my bedroom window. It was about this time of year. He didn't wake my wife.....but the shotgun blast did!:D

I'm working from home 100% now.聽 Wife is a nurse, so unfortunately she's in a hospital 3 days per week.聽 Daughter is immunocompromised so we are taking this very seriously and other than my wife find to work, we really aren't leaving the house.聽 I stocked up a couple of months worth of pet supplies on the front end of this, and I'm ordering things that I need from Amazon and whatnot.聽 I'm actually enjoying this somewhat slower pace of life.聽 I like working from home to the point that when this is all over with I think I'll be searching for a job that will allow me to work from home more.聽 Things aren't so bad now, snapped this this pic while I was writing this.

Let me start by saying that for the last three weeks I've been mostly staying at home. Yes, I do go out for my daily exercise walk, which is allowed. 聽There have also been a couple of聽trips to the store. I'm also practicing social distancing. But for the most part I've been doing just what I've been told and kept聽my butt at home.聽

Today something unexpected came up and I had to drive pretty much all the way across north Memphis. The traffic was about normal from pre-virus days. Maybe a little heavier. People out walking around in groups like everything was just fine. Lots and lots of people are out.聽:shake:

I saw on the news tonight that Gov. Lee has stressed staying home. He said its a requirement. I fully understand why. It seems that most of the population can't understand simple english or just aren't taking this seriously.聽 No wonder Shelby county has the fastest growing infection rate in the state. The real pandemic here is stupidity.聽:censored:

I used a mask and gloves for the few trips I've had to make to the doctor, UPS, Sam's etc.聽 About half of those I see are taking no precautions at all.

I have surgery scheduled on Wednesday and I'm hoping I can get in and out the same day without getting exposed in hospital.

I have found a big down side of the family staying home.

My wife is cooking more because we have the time. That is great. Healthier and much better food. Plus she is doing things like bread and cakes. So what is bad you say? Guess who gets dishes duty?聽:surrender:

Other than a doctors appointment (skin cancer removal) a couple of weeks ago, it has been over 3 weeks since I have been inside any building or walking around any place but our property. I have done some curbside pickups of groceries and takeout and today at TN Hills Distillery. Realized we were getting dangerously low on our favorite rums from our local distillery, the only hard liquor we keep in the house, and called in an order an the owner carried it out and reached through the passenger window and put the box on the seat. We are good now for a few weeks then we will probably do another parking lot pickup at Krogers.

Any idea how far away (days. weeks. months) a "restock" is?

We aren't open, but I did just unload a pretty good amount of stuff off a truck today. They'll start inventory tomorrow. Progress!
