If anyone is needing 9mm ammo I just left Shoot Point Blank in Knoxville and they had maybe 100 or so 1000 round cases of Magtech and CCI/Blazer.  $219,99.  Not a great price but if you were caught with your mag out and didn't prepare it is there.  It won't last the day I am sure.

Were gun sales going crazy in there like the internet would have us believe? Because looking at the guns for sale here it doesn’t appear, they are moving any faster.

He said they had been very busy selling guns but they still had cabinets pretty full.  I counted 5 at the counters looking at guns and know 2 were in process of buying.  Told me any "self defense" ammo was the hottest commodity.  Didn't matter brand or what.  They thought they were sitting good on total ammo but all the employees were able to buy 1000 rounds as it looks like they will be out today.  Range time dropped drastically.  Said yesterday had maybe 20 shooters on the range all day.  They normally have that many every couple of hours.

This crap is unreal ! I still dont understand how the virus thing triggered this mess. I was at a local gun store picking up a part and a man comes in walks straight to the counter and asks if they had AR15 lowers. The guy then said "give me 2" . He didnt look at them or take his time to check them out or anything. He just flopped out his money and started the paperwork. WIth me , I take my time and check out the lower to see if it looks good and look for flaws and such. But this dude just scarfed 2 up and did the paperwork. Then a lady comes in and does the same thing. Funny thing is that there were lotsof .22lr ammo and it wasnt touched at all.

That's what the guy at Point Blank was saying about defense ammo.  Didn't care what it was etc just needed it to say DEFENSE AMMO.

I picked up 1000 rounds of S&B 124gr last Friday.

Paid 12.99/50, but wanted the 124

Can confirm the previous posted pricing.

I'm an not a fan of their in-house brand.

I like the S&B 124 also. They had 2 boxes of that when I went into range and it was gone when I came out.

9mm @ $220.00 to $225.00 per thousand while higher than recent times, still about the same as a few years ago.

can't remember the name, but there is a local reman that use to supply Knoxville Gun Range.  Plenty of ammo and decent price.  Maybe someone here remembers the name.
