You have the sickness . I have an Accu-Shot monopod showing up today for my PRS stock. Do I wait for the mail, or go shoot the rifle as is? Decisions.

I did, with the monopod installed. Trigger group problems, so I didn't even get the scope dialed all the way in. Disconnector wasn't grabbing the hammer. Haven't dug into it yet

No biggie. Lots of crap went on that gun all at once. Not the first time a trigger on a semi-auto barfed on the range. I'm probably gonna toss the stock trigger back in there for now if I don't see something obvious with the adjustments. It's a Jard single stage trigger. Supposed to be OK. I still have the Double Star group that came out of it, and I know it works. Could be something funky with the BCG or upper receiver.

I've been pondering on the monopod for a bit but when I do the 1000 yard shoots I shoot of bags thats the only thing that has stopped me from getting one.

It's not quite stable as bags, but it can be folded and shot with bags. You can still make real good shots without having to lug bags around all the time. I'm still breaking mine in, so the last time it was out, I used a front rest and rear bag. Seems to me, the Harris bipod is more rickety than the monopod.

That mono-pod is sweet. You can make fast, smooth adjustments while limiting your rifles overall movement.

Here is my 6.5 Grendel AR creation with a mono-pod and Liberty Freedom suppressor.

I LIKE that varmint rifle. Have you thought about one of these?. I have one on my PRS, and it's well worth it to me...
