Dave has agreed to build a one off Custom Knife that I will be giving to one of the customers who get one of these knives if I sell enough of these it will be a very special knife and  so will these!

I can understand that, but money is the object. Until I can get some extra coming in...I just can't do it.

Just wondering if everyone would prefer a TR4 over a TR3?

What is the difference between them?

Posted (edited)

It's only a half-inch longer.

I have three TGO auto-knives that I do not routinely carry, so for me it's a matter of resisting my id. Do I like it? YES! Do I need another knife that I wouldn't routinely carry? No.

My vote is the TR3...but.

Do I want one? YES

Do I have discretionary money to buy?  YES

Do I need another?  Depends on whether a drawer or 3 full of various knives including some TGO and other Protechs is enough.

What's the economy and health situation going to be in a week, 6 months or year?  IDK and neither does anyone else

May be bad timing on this for now.  Just my 2 :2cents: worth on the subject.

Just to update this, I am still taking orders, those of you who have paid your knives have been paid for, due to the current events that these will be delayed, so I will continue to take orders until the build happens
