i cant figure out how to post pictures

You need to host them on an outside site like 'photobucket' and then copy and paste the "img" code to your post and it'll show up.

Jeff how do you like your Sig 1911? Is it better than a P220? I have a 220 but been longing for a 1911 for a while. I like Sigs so much I have been thinking a Sig 1911.

I do love my Sigs.

This one I posted is my 3rd Sig 1911.

To be honest I have a P220 Match that in my hands will out shoot any 1911 I have shot. To include my GSRs , Colt, S&W and Dan Wesson Valor.

Great looking TRP there, Plainsman. Of course I am a little biased on that one. (I used to won it.) Picking up a Kimber Raptor this week. Can't seem to make up my mind beween a 5" Raptor II and a 3" Ulta Raptor II. Both blued. Heck of a dilema isn't it? Any thoughts?

I'm leaning towards the Ultra, I seem to have bought and traded into several Commander-size and below in the last couple years.

I would go with the government model. I owned a Ultra Raptor II, and while it was incredibly easy to conceal, I did not really like it. The recoil wasn't bad, but it was definitely more than any of my government models. Also, the government models seem to be more accurate and a little more reliable that the Ultra (3") models.

Good luck on whatever you choose, and I hope you enjoy it.

I recall someone on here offering me a Raptor II during my search. Might could be beneficial to both of you. May want to look into the Dan Wesson CCO as well. I've heard lots of good things about them in regards to concealability/reliability.

I'm going with mav on this one....I'd go for the Government model as well, but thats just me. The serrations Kimber uses on those Raptors is pretty flashy though, and would complement a carry pistol well! It could be one of your BBQ guns!

I kinda like it... unique finish at least. Probably going to trade her off for another 9mm some day.

I *don't* believe that I've posted in this thread, despite being a huge 1911-fan. If I have (I searched), I'm sorry to repost, but why not give it a go and show some guns off...

I'm down to four, now, which include a Sig 1911 Carry Compact, an old Colt (1962), My Jeff Gun (from Hero Gear, built to be a fighting/defensive pistol), and my Smith and Wesson 1911 9mm Pro, which will be a keeper. Not owned anymore are the Dan Wesson Pointman, and the Para SSP.

Again, I am sorry of these are a huge repost, but I figured that I'd showcase them in this thread, as the one that I made a while ago is long-lost. I really need to get some more current pictures, too, honestly, as some of these have changed. Thanks for looking.
