Cheap old Rock Island fat body, Fusion ignition parts and trigger. Wilson Combat stuff on the

rear. Kimber Ambi safety. Thinking maybe sights are next. Very tight for a cheap gun. Shoots better

than I can.

My budget 1911. Rock Island Armory I gave $275 for the gun, and $25 for the comp. I have a good friend at work who is a gun smith. He fitted the comp and put the target sights on. Worked the trigger over as well. Shoots like a dream for $300. It even came with a Novak mag. :)

FINALLY!!!! i made it into the status of a 1911 owner!!! picked this up a few days ago...

Added it to the "my first duracoat project" que this weekend.....

here she is...RIA 2011 Tactical. (sorry for the crappy pic, when I get my new grips on I will take a better one)
