I found a good deal on some .356 130gr fmj Berry's "38 Super" bullets. Is there any reason that these are different than a .356 FMJ for a 9x19?? Or are they just marketed to the 38 super crowd? I'm looking to build some plinking rounds for my 9mm and came across these.

Cast bullets can be a little biger, usually .001. 38 super and 9mm are typicaly loaded with .355 bullets so yes these can be used in your 9mm. Just be sure to use loading data for that weight bullet.

According to several of my loading manuals bullet diameter for both 38 super and 9x19 is .354-.356.

Good to know! Seems easier to find "38 Super" bullets than 9mm because everyone is sold out of 9mm....lol.

70,

Aren't 9mm bullets usually .355?

Mike

Yeah, most of the 9mm stuff seems to be .355.....but I have seen quite alot of .356 stuff listed for 9x19 too......I'm guessing manufacturers shoot the middle of spec in an attempt to please everyone.
