I saw a flyer ad for RK gun show in Parsons next weekend. Has anyone been to a show in Parsons? Was wondering if it was worth the trip.--MP

just got back...Prices where high....

Prices were rather unbeliveably ridiculous (high), $1200 Olympic A2 stood out alot to me, Not many revolvers except the Mint (they better have been for the prices they wanted) S&W under glass cases and the $399 Remington 870 Expresses were a little too much for my B.S. meter. So, luckily The Great Outdoors Store had a Mossberg 535 for $250. So today wasn't a total bust except for driving 60 miles and spent $9 for nothing.

Back from gun show in Parsons. Line of people around building until about 10am but arrived about 10:30 and was able to walk in. Building about half guns and half knives and t-shirts.

Several EBR's and shotguns, S&W's, and the usual assortment of other brands. Couple of vendors had holsters, got Desantis pocket holster for my LCP. Saw a AR complete 9mm upper for $995 but don't remember brand. Colt SS Anaconda with 8" barrel for $1000, if had box and papers was fair price. Most were the usual vendor price, to high.

There were probably more deals walking around from individuals. Nickle Colt DS looked mint for $500 not bad out of line. Several people carrying shotties, rifles and pistols and some priced right.

Quite a bit of ammo there but also priced in the upper range.

Usual assortment of knives, army surplus and t-shirts. Didn't find any great bargains but not a bad way to spend a rainy Saturday evening.------MP
