Found this today at Sportsman's Warehouse and was curious if anyone has tried it? I usually mix testors hi-viz orange and bright red to make my front sight pop, but at dusk a glow sight like my Ameriglo i have on my Shield makes it much easier to use.

I’m curious if anyone has used this particular stuff since it’s what I’m looking at. I wanted to know if it glowed anywhere near as bright as aftermarket sights and if it needed to be charged with light beforehand since the handgun is usually in a holster in the dark.

“Light activated ghost glow”. Looks like you gotta charge it, I’d put that $25 towards a set of tritium sights

Very old thread, but very useful. The pics are no good anymore, but the text is still good.

I just went to Hobby Lobby and purchased florescent model car paint. Used a base coat of white then laid another coat of either red or green. Always clean and degrease the sight, with alcohol, before painting. If there is any oil on the sight the paint wont adherer well. That has been my experience and it has worked well for me.

That's the trick, most people don't leave their guns out in the sun all day.
